The RTP Tamil Catholic Association is a non-profit corporation, formed by devout Catholics hailing from Tamil Nadu, India and who live in the USA. We share a common purpose – to worship in Tamil. Our objectives are:
- Support Tamil Catholics in worship through regular Roman Catholic mass and prayer, celebration of religious feasts and festivals and to pass on this tradition to future generations.
- Provide religious instructions in Tamil, support Tamil culture & heritage, complement the ministries of the Roman Catholic Church and support charitable causes
Even though the acronym ‘RTP’ stands for ‘Research Triangle Park’, which is situated in North Carolina, we have members from neighboring states such as Virginia. In fact, we encourage Tamil Catholics across the US to register with us, collaborate with us and visit us.
